Any Video Downloader is a free online tool that helps people save videos and images they are allowed to save. We respect the rights of creators and content owners, and we expect everyone who uses the service to do the same. This page explains what is and is not acceptable.

In short: use Any Video Downloader only for content that belongs to you, content you have permission to save, or content that is in the public domain or shared under a licence that allows it. Downloading copyrighted material without permission is not allowed.

What you may download

The service is intended for personal, lawful use. Examples of content you can generally save:

  • Videos and images that you created and uploaded yourself, for backup or offline editing.
  • Content where the owner has given you clear permission to download or reuse it.
  • Works in the public domain, or videos published under a Creative Commons or similar open licence, as long as you follow the licence terms (for example, giving credit).
  • Content that the platform itself allows you to save offline for personal viewing.

What is not allowed

  • Downloading copyrighted videos, music, films or shows that you do not have the right to copy.
  • Re-uploading, selling, or otherwise redistributing someone else's content without their permission.
  • Using downloaded content for commercial purposes without a licence from the owner.
  • Attempting to bypass paywalls, subscriptions, private-account restrictions, or digital rights management (DRM). The tool does not support these, and you must not try to use it for that purpose.
  • Removing watermarks, credits or ownership information to claim someone else's work as your own.

How the service works

Any Video Downloader does not host, upload, or publish videos. When you paste a public link, the tool processes that link to prepare a file for your own device, and the result is delivered to you for that single request. We do not build a library of user content, and we do not offer downloads for private, protected or DRM-restricted material.

Your responsibility as a user

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to download and use any content you process with this tool. Owning a copy of a file does not give you ownership of the copyright in it. Please also follow the terms of the platform the content comes from, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter) or LinkedIn. Reporting copyright concerns

If you are a content owner and believe the service is being used in a way that infringes your rights, please tell us. Follow the steps on our DMCA Takedown page or email hello@anyvideodownloder.net. We review valid reports promptly and, where appropriate, take action such as blocking the reported link from being processed.

Repeat misuse

We may restrict access for users or sources that are repeatedly reported for infringing activity. We may also update this policy from time to time, and the date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
